Mind Amplification Dish to let you MC (humanoid) targets.

Cobalt Frag bomb disables.  It's a very small radius but this is something that's been majorly missing with the LK bombs - no stun.

Wormholes!  "Engineers can now learn to create a portable Wormhole Generator for Northrend. The Wormhole allows them to travel to different locations in Northrend, although the locations are sometimes in dangerous places."  DUDE!  WORMHOLES!  I can't wait to see where it'll take me or what the cooldown is.

"Mote Extractor now has innate tracking for gas clouds while it is in your inventory. Tracking of gas clouds has been removed from goggles." - that's very useful for rogues who want to upgrade their head gear or who want to wear the PvP headpiece and still get tracking.

A new improved repair bot that doesn't go away when used, and gives access to bank boxes for engineers.  He has normal repairbot functions for everyone else.

Also, a profession-specific AH bot in Dalaran.

In general these all seem to be good changes for people who've invested all that time and money in skilling up the profession.  I still wouldn't advise anyone starting out to take this profession over any other, though.

Of course, one of my engineer characters is a priest, so this is about as useful to her as a set of jumper cables.  Nice for everyone else, though.

Probably useful for other classes who want to upgrade their headgear too, or are rogues in a particular bind when it comes to goggles?
