# Leatherworking

    * Added a recipe for Drums of Forgotten Kings. These drums increase all stats by 8% for all players in a raid. The effect of these drums is exclusive with Blessing of Kings.
    * Added a recipe for Drums of the Wild. These drums grant a buff equal to the highest rank of Mark of the Wild (untalented) to all players in a raid. The effect of these drums is exclusive with Mark of the Wild.

The one I'm really exicted about as a Hunter is the second one.  This means that I won't have to choose between giving a Wild buff for the group/raid when needed or my DPS options.  Although playing low-rent Paladin has it's appeal as well. Smiley

I haven't had a chance to look.  Are these patterns sold by trainers or that guy in Dalaran, or are they drops?

Mark of the Wild (druid) != Aspect of the Wild (hunter).  The former is a stat boost; the latter is a resistance aura.  MoW does provide a lesser amount of resistance that is overwritten by AoW but otherwise they're mutually exclusive.

You're right..   basically the new drums and the Inscription Rune Scroll are to provide for parties that are missing  Paladins, Druids, or Priests.  Unlike the old drums,  they don't require leatherworking to operate either.  They will however store in the skinning bag.

I did pick up both of these patterns last night, even though I'm a druid.  While you do not need leatherworking to use them, you do have to be level 80.  Also, each time you make one, they only give one charge that lasts 30 minutes.  With the amount of Heavy Borean Leather it takes to make each one (6 or 8 I believe, but correct me if I'm wrong), it will take a lot of leather to make any kinda of stack of them, especially if you have a number of level 80s you want to send some to.

Warning to D.E.H.T.A. members, expect to see an increase in skinned animal carcasses throughout Northrend.....

I'm very confused. Some people are saying one charge, others are saying 50 charges. Wowhead says 50 charges...

Which is it? o_O

I know Forgotten Kings has one charge, although I haven't made one yet to double check it.  The old BC drums that you could learn with rep, had 50 charges, but those drums only lasted for say about 15 seconds, depending on the drum.

Looks like the inscription scroll for fortitude is less painful for material costs than those drums.  It gives 165sta for those times when you don't have a priest in the group.

Clarification...  Both Drums when made have 50 charges. This has been confirmed as I have made both. It's the description of the patterns in the profession spell book which reads one charge for each listing.
